Collect less. Protect more.

Kink Notary is designed to minimize unnecessary disclosure while meeting legal, administrative, and security obligations.

Draft privacy notice — effective upon launch. This notice must be updated to match the final booking, payment, storage, analytics, and remote-notarization providers.

Information we may collect

Depending on the service, we may collect contact information, scheduling details, billing records, identity-verification data, notarial journal information, document metadata, correspondence, and other information required by applicable law or the requested service.

Information we ask you not to send

Do not place government identification numbers, full copies of identification, medical records, passwords, financial account details, explicit descriptions, or complete agreement terms in the general website booking request.

How information is used

Information may be used to evaluate service eligibility, schedule appointments, perform authorized notarial acts, comply with recordkeeping obligations, communicate with clients, prevent fraud, process payments, and respond to lawful requests.

Sharing

We do not sell client information. Information may be shared with service providers used to operate the business, with a client's written permission, or as required or permitted by law. Remote online notarization platforms may maintain separate records under their own policies and legal obligations.

Retention and security

Records are retained only for the period required by applicable law, contractual obligations, security needs, or legitimate business purposes. No electronic system is completely secure, but administrative, technical, and physical safeguards should be used in proportion to the sensitivity of the information.

Your choices

You may ask to update ordinary contact information or request deletion of records that are not legally required to be retained. Notarial journal entries, audiovisual recordings, identity-proofing records, or transaction records may be subject to mandatory retention and may not be removable on request.
